We also carry professional insurance, In addition to this, we carry out regular CPD on a range of topics related to our trade. These are the things that set us apart, and provide you - our client - and your horse or pony with reassurance that you are absolutely in the right hands.
Equine Sports Massage Therapy
Site visits by our fully qualified and registered equine sports massage therapist, Sarah Smart.
Our service includes full assessment of your horse or pony, with treatment tailored to suit their individual needs. In addition, our therapist may provide you with some exercises, where necessary, to help with your horse's rehabilitation in between treatments and beyond.
Our practitioner is IAAMT and IAAT registered, and carries certification as an Equine Sports Massage Therapist by Equissage Europe.
NOTE: In some cases, we may require permission from your horse/pony's vet before commencing massage treatment.
Massage therapy offers a lot of benefits; however, should not be considered as a substitute to professional veterinary advice.
Bit & Bridle Fitting / Supply
Full bit and bridle fitting is available by our trained and qualified fitter. Our practitioner, Sarah, is LANTRA qualified, and an EAPER registered consultant member.
A correctly fitting bit and bridle is essential to your horse or ponies wellbeing, comfort and performance. Unfortunately this is often overlooked as many horse owners are unaware of the implications of a badly fitting bit or bridle.
An incorrectly fitted bit or bridle can result in tension throughout the whole body due to muscular connections of the tongue and head with the rest of the body. This can have a huge impact on performance.
Our service options include an initial visit to assess your equine and needs, as well as a follow-up visit (where required) to check on progress and address any further issues or concerns.
Although there is no obligation to purchase from us, we can offer an increasing range of new and used bits and bridles from a variety of brands.
Kinesiology (Equi-Tape® )
Equi-Tape® is a kinesiology tape which is designed specifically for use with equines.
Kinesiology taping's overall effect is designed to increase the flow of blood and lymph fluid in addition to decreasing pain.
Kinesiolopgy should not be considered as a substitute to professional veterinary and treatment).
Kinesiology taping can be used as a means of supporting sports massage therapy, or can be used as a standalone treatment method.
Equiphoria Ltd. carries certification as an authorised practitioner of Equi-Tape® products and offers treatments as part of our massage therapy service. Standalone treatment can also be provided on request.
